  The relation between the price and quality is excellent. Hotel's staff was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. My special request was realised and it made me super happy. I highly recommend that hotel. Though the neighbourhood is a little bit shady, but we weren't endangered or something, this area of Queens just has its own vibe ;) most importantly the Subway station is just a quick stroll away (few minutes) and the F Line can take you wherever you want. In conclusion, I liked the staff, the cleanliness, the breakfasts (though the similarity everyday was a little bit tiring but we were happy that we had them).

  There is no possibility to open the window in the room, it's only possible to use the A/C. Sometimes I felt the need of fresh air and the A/C couldn't make it happen.

  Clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast options unusual to find in other hotels. Burittos and tacos were delicious. It's a pet friendly hotel. Well maintained, nice and clean area for dogs. Uphill trail was a nice morning walk. Very friendly staff.

  Booked this as a luxury treat for my sons first NYC trip from UK aged 16 because of the pool, location and pictures which included rooftop views and spent the extra cash thinking with that might come a higher degree of service. Totally wrong. Booking.com give the option of payment on checkout where this isnt in-fact possible, payed on check in and I was told a $600 dollar charge for incidentals would be made but they tried to charge over $1000. A further $150 was unexpectedly attemptedly charged without authorisation the day before checkout and another $2200. On the early hours of checkout day. Pool access was only 4 hours total a day to actual guests, Tao have a beach club the rest of day and have to pay over €100 and be over 21 years of age to use. I wanted to access roof as shown in the gallery pictures to take some photos with my son but apparently can only be done on a Thursday then told needed to be over 21 to do as rooftop owned by a nightclub. €50 destination fee a night (€350 total) explained on check in so only when looking for check out time saw that discounts were available in local places we had spent full price in, Arc and Cream line for example and no water given. Final financial blow was being told by reception to get A train Uptown for JFK air train only to find enroute a few stops in this was wrong and then having to return back to hotel to get a taxi as to not miss our flight! Lucky the baggage guy was super helpful and understanding I was panicking about the situation. This hotel are more interested in sub hiring facilities and pleasing strangers than paying guests. Bad decision making on this one hotel means it is now a poor reflection on the whole Hyatt chain.
