  An impressive hotel in a great location right by the sea, with great food. All the staff were both friendly and efficient. The room was spacious clean, quiet and comfortable. (A little dated in decor, but we weren't worried by that.) The fantastic view made it a destination in its own right.

  We found nothing to dislike here. On a busy morning, the cooked breakfast buffet was a little under pressure, but fresh supplies were still arriving around 9:30am and there was lots of choice. Anyone with mobility issues may need to be aware that there are steps to access some areas and rooms. Also, great shower over the bath. If of concern, maybe have a chat with the staff about your requirements.

  The room price was cheap but, understandably you nearly always get what you pay for ! The location was close to the City Centre with free parking outside the property. The bed was perfectly comfortable.

  The condition of the property was quite shocking. Run down and everything was the bear minimum. The atmosphere was quite uncomfortable also. My shower didn't work so had to wash using the sink and a cup that I brought as there's nothing in the room or Kitchen other than two towels on the bed. The heating was on constantly which on one hand was good but with no way to turn the radiator off because of it's condition the room was too hot. Basically if you're happy staying in a dormitory or low level student accommodation and simply use it to put your head on the pillow then this may just about suit. If you want anything remotely of the standard of Travelodge or above you will be bitterly disappointed.
