The house is so tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Roula and Nick were very friendly and looked after us like family. They also arranged a taxi service for us. We met Poppi who was just delightful and helpful us to explore bit more of the island. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to escape to a place that is far from the maddening crowd.”

We arrived late and were tired but the guy on staff told us that we should go out and explore Hadrians Gate and Old town at night and we are so glad that we did! Was a really cool vibe - would recommend exploring at night - this was at 11pm! Bed was comfy and the space was perfect to spent a night or two in as a stopover. Location and value for money are hard to beat. We were able to park our hire car directly outside the front of the hotel which was awesome. Staff were great and very helpful. We would stay here again.”

  venue was exceptional, a beautiful building inside and outside. lovely gardens and walks. The public area was well maintained and spotlessly clean, tastefully and elegantly decorated and the room was clean and spotless.   Well positioned near the motorway, fast and easy check in, decent breakfast buffet array covering cooked breakfast, yogurts, cereals, pastroes, juices, tea and coffee. Its clean, polite and helpful staff.

  Decor is bit bland for the bar area and I dont' like shower curtains as always seems to divert endless puddles to the floor however you arrange them - that's just my personal preference to have a screen. No plugs near the head of the bed which is frustrating when charging your phone overnight etc No USB ports anywhere.

  It has a bus station right in front of it, it wasn’t too far away from the city, the area felt safe, the hostel itself also felt safe

  There wasn’t anything specific that I didn’t like. For people who want to stay here you should note that there aren’t any lifts and many steps and since the shower and the toilets sometimes are in the same room the floors can be wet - cause some people don’t clean up after themselves. But these are pretty common things in hostels and I didn’t mind it.

  Staff including reception were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was a self-service buffet style with plenty of choice.

  Room shower unit needs anti slip mat on the floor. Although we paid for a parking bay, our name tag was moved to another bay on day two without advising us causing some confusion with the new occupant.

  Location and easy parking.Easy walk to train or start/finish of walking tracks

  We stayed in the Coach house annexe which was attached to main hotel via a breeze way.This was ok though a bit of a maze and fine for us but if you were less mobile might be a challenge.The stairs to access the coach house were also narrow so no good for big bags

  The ordering service meant that breakfast took longer than anticipated. It was not quick so relaxing as we needed to be back at Horsforth for 10.00am. Should have come down 15 minutes earlier
