You definitelly get more than you pay. The cofee and some fruit were on the house. The hosts are very nice and stylish people, very thougtfull and helpfull. They even offered to drive us from the train station to the property and back. They helped us with everything we needed and they contributted to the general impression of a nice and beautifull atmosphere overall.”

  We had a very friendly welcome from the owner when we arrived. The room was an excellent size with comfortable beds and colourful decor. The breakfasts were good and included simple cereals, yoghurt, fruit and pain chocolate. There was a microwave and jug in the room and the kitchen. The walk to gatwick station was very manageable through a nearby park. Horley station was a little bit closer and nice walk along safe streets. We accidentally took the key and sent it back immediately and they were very good about our mistake.

  Although the bathroom was clean the shower curtain did not reach to the bottom so the floor inevitably got wet. It smelt mouldy and there was no way to heat it or dry it out. So the people using it after a shower got wet feet. The guest book encouraged us to do our own dishes but the kitchen was off limits so we just left our dishes on the trolley like everyone else. I think other guests found it difficult to get hold of someone as I opened the door for some guests who were standing out in the rain for a while.

  The hosts were very accommodating. The location was perfect. We went to Canterbury for its historic past. The Cathedral was an easy walk, The recommended Restaurant was ideal for dinner. The Izzi Italian restaurant had wonderful food and excellent wait staff. The Band B had a very extensive variety of food for breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room

  Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Large walk-in shower. Spotlessly clean everywhere and has a real attention to detail. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

  Breakfast room is a little 'cosy'. Cooked breakfast is a little limited, only 1 slice of toast per person, but I'm sure you could perhaps ask for more.
