You definitelly get more than you pay. The cofee and some fruit were on the house. The hosts are very nice and stylish people, very thougtfull and helpfull. They even offered to drive us from the train station to the property and back. They helped us with everything we needed and they contributted to the general impression of a nice and beautifull atmosphere overall.”

  Location and views were delightful. The cottage was very clean and delightfully decorated. Bed was comfortable with well laundered bed linen. Good size TV and several videos. Book shelf had a good selection of books. Welcoming bottle of wine and fresh flowers.

  I was on the move and didn't pick up the key code so had to knock on the owners door. Otherwise the whole transaction would have been remote. On leaving we couldn't get the key safe to open after trying several times and had to put the key through the owners letter box. One tea towel to last four days. Four would have been better. Towels were white and fluffy but a large bath towel each would have been nice as the ones supplied were not big enough. Kitchen needed a pair of tongs and a grater. But otherwise enough kitchen equipment. Booking in time 4pm is the latest l have ever been admitted to a property. Asked to pay £25 for an early arrival is not how l expect to start a holiday. We could have arrived earlier as l did not look at my emails (being on the move) until after my 4 pm arrival.

  I’m disabled with mobility issues and the spa facilities was too far and it clearly wasn’t designed for disabled people as I had to navigate around stairs.

  We liked the location. The apartment was well furnished and comfortable.

  The double bed was too small for a couple. When places say “double” bed, it’s usually a queen size bed. This bed was barely bigger than a twin. My husband went and slept on the couch because he was so uncomfortably crowded. Then, there was no extra blanket.. the bed that was there was comfortable, except too small.
