The location right by the Green River trail and the Timber Crib dam and the Covered bridge is delightful; we welcomed the absence of TV in the room; the evening meal by Chef Dave including an appetizer of chicken in the woods mushrooms harvested on the premises made the meal truly special. We were seated with another couple (who were not spending the night, but came for dinner); this made the conversation at the table lively and gave the whole evening a European flair. The bath were well-appointed and worked well.

It seems difficult to control the temperature in the bedroom since the AC and heat are not coupled. I ended up opening the window, but I was awakened by every (occasional) car driving by. Since there was no shed storage for our bikes, Michael suggested we bring them in to the entry of the B&B, but it felt inappropriate to bring our dusty bikes into such a lovely home.

Perfect location - 2 min drive to grocery and drug stores, 3 min drive to town for shops, restaurants, scenic walk along the bay, & museums. Perfect accommodations - fully stocked kitchenette, private balcony overlooking golf course, sitting area with sofa beds and TV. Building was so QUIET and PEACEFUL - I can’t think of a better place for a restful nite sleep! The blackout drapes were a pleasant surprise.

Liked that the rooms were in a separate building from the lobby. Felt private, quiet. High ceilings were adding a spacious feeling, unusual for a hotel. Late check-in was effortless.

Tub not draining, TV not working. Remote control falling apart. A bit dated. Pillows were dated but had 4 to choose from.

A "maintenance man" unlocked our door and came in the room without knocking. His reason was that he didn't know the room was rented. I thought it was not acceptable. It could have been traumatic.
