There's to go there in the 1980s. The place is still the same, so look around. So the carpets were older. There were gnats bugs that they could not get rid of they were by the front desk and they were in the breakfast area. Breakfast was fair. Good. The beds were comfortable. My son was in the room next door he had.A smart TV that you could get so he got all our movie stations which I couldn't in my room like to buy the refrigerator some of the wood was very weather i'm a disabled marquee firemen with bad lungs. I asked for the 1st floor by the pool. They gave me the 2nd floor down the hallway. When around the pool on the 1st floor they were empty. We could see through the window so I don't know what that was about keeping us in one area. So the clean one area when I told him my disability.

This hotel was amazing! The room was beyond what I expected. Two rooms, a living room with a large table to eat at. a very large spa bathtub in the main bedroom and a great kitchen. This room felt cabana like- somewhere tropical. It could literally fit 6 people with room. Lots of things happening at this hotel for guests, even a movie theatre. The swimming area was great also. I can't tell you enough to reserve this gem. I didn't want to leave. No joke. The vibe was so good......

I really liked the room — it was clean, odor-free, and comfortable. The sofa was a nice addition, and I appreciated the coffee pot with complimentary coffee, the refrigerator, and the ice box. Everything felt tidy and well-maintained.

The bathroom didn’t seem to have an exhaust fan, which would’ve been helpful. There was no microwave, and I wasn’t sure how often the carpets are deep-cleaned — I personally prefer a no-outside-shoes policy in rooms. I also wish I had the option to take my own luggage to the room; no luggage cart was available and valet was the only option. Most disappointing was the pool — while the pool area looked beautiful from the outside, the water wasn't clean. I noticed hair, bugs, and empty cups both in and around the pool. Unfortunately, my daughter developed a rash on her back and legs after swimming, which was concerning.

The staff very friendly, the hotel had changed ownership and they were in the process of remodeling. Otherwise we enjoyed our vacation .

The hotel rooms are quite "tired": the air conditioner is noisy, the furniture is old and not very functional. Initially, we were given a room with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. After we complained, we were moved to another room, but it had very poor noise isolation and curtains that didn’t fully close. As a result, we slept very poorly, constantly hearing people partying and clubbing, and woke up very early due to the sunlight. The worst part was the pool situation. We specifically chose this hotel because it has a pool, but it’s only available to hotel guests until 6 PM. After that, it’s closed off for private events every evening..

The breakfast was all packaged food. Pancakes, waffles , muffins all packaged and very sweet. The breakfast time was till 9 am and although it was packaged food . The lady in charge picked up everything on 9 am. Removed all the food. My son went to grab a bagel ( the only item that was low on sweet ) and the lady simply said its finished. I find it strange and very unwelcoming. Also the rooms had a very damp feel to it . The rooms were clean but they felt damp.

Disappointed by the deterioration at Harrah’s Laughlin My stay from August 2–5, 2025, at Harrah’s Laughlin (2900 S Casino Dr, Laughlin, NV) was far from what was advertised. Check-in was chaotic—long lines and most self-service kiosks weren’t working, which delayed entry to my room by over an hour. Inside, the room had a musty aroma, stained carpeting, and a broken faucet. The décor felt decades old and poorly maintained. Even though the resort advertises a private beach and pool, there were extra charges for umbrella tables and severe restrictions—no outside coolers, shade devices, or alcohol permitted. Pools felt neglected, and one closed earlier than advertised. Dining options were limited. Several outlets were unexpectedly closed during my stay and wait times were long due to minimal staffing. Although some staff were friendly, the inconsistent service did little to mitigate the overall feeling of neglect. On the casino floor, the air was dense with smoke despite designated non-smoking sections. Harrah’s is perhaps the nicest in Laughlin—but that’s not much praise when everything else feels deteriorated. I had hoped for affordable, carefree gambling with riverfront access—but what I encountered was an aging property running on reputation rather than upkeep. Unless improvements are made soon, I wouldn’t consider returning.
