- “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

  I travel a lot. This was my first time at The Paris Hotel. Customer Service was sorely lacking. The room was decent but the noise level was unbearable at night. I was located in Versailles Tower. Apparently, it was newly renovated but the pool was not open. That meant walking a great distance to the pool in the main building. This was not disclosed nor was the noise level. As a high end hotel, the room only offered plastic cups. Even in the bar, I was given perrier in a plastic cup! This was a very pricey weekend and the facilities and customer service were sub par! I will never stay here again!

  Kym at the front desk was wonderful. She also willingly switched my room because the first one facing the freeway was a bit too noisy. Comfy bed, nice shower, and nice to have a comfy chair as well. Except for the traffic noise on the freeway side, the room was quiet.

  At first I liked the idea of an older established hotel in a fairly historical city

  Being a bit older, we requested room near an elevator or lower floor...they put us on 5th floor complete opposite side of only elevator. We insisted on moving. We were told there was a restaurant on premises. It posted venues but not times. We missed lunch service and were directed to "walk 2 blocks down" We were told it was on the Riverwalk "short walk" it was at least 3 blocks to any accessible part of Riverwalk. Pool was on 4th floor...never did figure out how to get to it Vending machines All JAMMED and ate my $6.00 to which I was told "yeah we know". Gave it 1 night and turned down the bed to find what appeared to be stained linens and large clumps of long black hair! Got up the next morning..tried to eat again...eggs barely cooked, potato patties soaked in what smelled like rancid grease...CHECKED OUT and left by 10am!!! WORST HOTEL EVER the staff seemed as frustrated and embarrassed as I was!!!
