- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  I had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was extremely clean and well maintained, which made it feel comfortable right away. The views were absolutely beautiful and added so much to the experience. Having 23 pools to choose from was amazing, and the beach being just a few steps away made it even better. The host was very kind, responsive, and easy to work with, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

  I liked the location of the hotel. It was near everything I needed it to be near. I also liked how clean the rooms were. No roaches or bed bugs or any other bugs. It was clean. The bed, toilet, and shower was clean.

  I didn’t like the fact that the facility charged me not once again but TWICE again. I pre-paid my trip through booking.com. Couldn’t get checked in until paying full price again because someone working that shift didn’t know what they were doing. To just wake up a day later to be charged AGAIN full price from the credentials of the manager Richard. Who claims he didn’t charge my card someone at the facility was logged in under his name and charged it ?????????? I am still waiting to be refunded $284.86 that they claim they don’t see on their end they charged me but my bank statement is showing a charge from them. Overall, if you want a clean place to stay they are good but if you want your card charged hundreds of dollars 2 different times and rude management to deal with (RICHARD) don’t stay. Bria was great she helped as much as her title could allow her to help.

  What I did not like about the property was how the pool on the rooftop closed at 11 o’clock. I feel if we pay that much money for that room we should be able to enjoy the rooftop city view as well as the pool all night.
