- “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

  It was clean and fresh, with an updated room. I was comfortable and pleasantly pleased to have an older facility affordable and well maintained. A nice man came out as I was leaving, asking how my stay was. Good job, Sage and Sands!

  The office was not fresh, giving me second thoughts. I'm so glad the room was nice! You do need to request a hair dryer from the office. That was not an issue, just FYI.

  The ppl there are rude. The machines at Ceasars were not working right and froze up on me a few times. We have pictures of them frozen with our money in them. I called attendants we waited 1hr and nothing.

  The amenities were nice. It was clean and the lounge area was very welcoming.

  Our bathroom had no ventilation, no form of air, the ac did not reach the bathroom. It was hot and muggy and impossible to get ready for a birthday party. When we told the person at the desk, they did not offer a percentage off or a free stay some where else. They said all their rooms were made like that. Very disappointed, will not stay there again.

  There was no telephone in the room. Only a small towel rack in the shower area. No place to hang towels in the sink area. No information in regards to television channels. We only stayed two nights as we had a family emergency and had to leave early. No accommodation for this event

  The staff was nice and helpful, and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the HVAC system is good.

  The room had paint chipped off in some places, and the bathroom counter under the mirror was separated from the wall, revealing the glue that was supposed to hold it in place. There were two of us, and there was only one chair to sit in. The hotel keys are outdated with a magnetic strip on the back of a key card. They can be erased and become unusable if they come into contact with your cell phone or any magnetic material. We had an issue with this and had to get new keys.

  Immediately when we walked in the door there was rat poison on the floor which should have been a sign for us to leave. The whole place was dirty. There was black mold in our bathroom and on the wall by the air conditioner. When we told the man at the front desk that we wanted to check out early he told us that we couldn’t and said too bad.
