  The breakfast was exceptional. Nadia & Chef were welcoming and so helpful. Nadia is a gem! Rebecca & Maggie were so welcoming and the first floor of the Inn & our room were very pretty. I loved the first floor and the front porch which we enjoyed. Also, it was close to the center of Annapolis & we walked to our restaurant for dinner. Our room & the Inn was immaculate. Ice water, coffee & tea available as well.

  I didn't notice when I booked the Chesapeake Room that it was on the third floor. Rebecca informed us when we arrived. Almost 40 steps to climb for 2-77 year olds--it was a little steep & hard for us. Booking said garden view but I only saw a parking lot. Toilet was very low to the ground with no safety bar. We don't travel a lot anymore but it taught me to think of all amenities. I don't categorize us as handicapped but perhaps I should have mentioned our ages & small difficulties. Almost 18 emails from Booking.com/Flag House Inn. Some with repeated info. but some were very informative. Maybe these could be reduced.

  Price was good...room was very clean. Location was great because we were there to meet up with friends who have a summer place in Clayton. We didn't stay long enough to use the pool although it was directly in front of our room!

  Bath soap was way too small and there was no decaf coffee. We probably could have asked someone for it, but we met our friends for breakfast anyway.

  For the price of the room, it was extremely outdated. If I was aware that the rooms look like that, I definitely would stayed somewhat else. It was convenient due to a last minute flight cancellation.

  Arrived at 6pm and door locked and no receptionist and no answer to phone number posted! I had to walk to another hotel and wait 20 minutes while 1 receptionist was off her break. Stay away!

  Happy hour was very nice as well as the breakfast.

  The pool was way over crowded. This is a small pool for the number of guests/children at the hotel. It was very cloudy and did not look clean at all. The hot tub was good but way to much chlorine.
