Newer facility. Everything was nice, very clean & comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this location. Nice remote area on the edge of town. Very quite and peaceful. They recommend a great little local restaurant for dinner. The food and service was excellent there as well. We don't travel this direction often, but if we do again, we'll book here.

The only inconvenience we had, was the hot water in our room. We had to run the water several minutes for the hot water to reach our room. Nothing that would keep me from staying again.

The breakfast was excellent. The coffee machine brewed your coffee fresh each time. Love the sweet cinnamon rolls and hash brown potatoes, mini omelet and my husband loved the biscuits and gravy and sausage. Great variety of food. The location was awesome! Walked right down the street and onto the beach!

The only thing I did not like was the gentleman who checked in prior to me paid $30/night less that I did. When I asked why the lady at the desk said they constantly change their rates. I’d have been better off not reserving.

I loved that the hotel was right on the beach. The “waterpark” downstairs was great for the kids (and parents). Having breakfast included was convenient.

The drive in and valet process was a time consuming process with a lot of traffic, once driving up you feel rushed to get all your luggage and items out the car in a few minutes to then have to cram in the small entrance area to wait for a lift to take you upstairs to the lobby - this definitely is not ideal, especially when you have tired & impatient toddlers. I also wish the valet cost was included in the booking as an additional $25 per day was pretty expensive and unexpected - especially with majority of the clientele being out of town drivers, so you would expect this to be included as the booking. The room was a decent size with 2 queen beds, but the sheets and pillows were not of good quality. I also understand that living right at the ocean mixed with the humidity - that it’s tough to keep mold at bay, but the bathroom had black mold build up along the floors and sink (if it wasn’t mold then it was dirt/grime and that is just as unpleasant to see). The restaurant area doesn’t have enough seating options for the breakfast rush which in turn causes people to sit on the benches in the lobby or standing and eating, and although there is a selection of things to pick from, there truly wasn’t much variety - but then again it was a basic American breakfast which I suppose leaves you with the very standard options. The WiFi is a little iffy, but I suppose that is normal in such a big hotel with a large number guests walking about, but if you need a constant good signal then this place is not it.
