- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Very close to dining plazas and entertainments. Just walk about 10 minutes, and you have access to many eating spots. If you want to walk about 15 minutes, you can make it to the movie theaters, Best Buy, and more restaurants. Overall, the room was nice and clean. There is no room to complain about if you are in Vermont to eat, hike, and sleep.

  The location was perfect. I had stayed here before and knew that it would be nice and wasn't disappointed this time. The room was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

  Breakfast, I felt, could have been better. There were a lot of people when I went to get breakfast, but it was more than that. I felt that the offerings themselves were merely adequate.

  The property was in a great location. It was overall a very nice place to stay. My sister and I loved the electric kettle and having everything like a home.

  It would have been nice if we had better toiletries. And the stairs were hard for me to go up and down. The couple stairs at the top should also have a handrail like the large stairs. It was hard for me to get up those last stairs.

  The room that we were given was nothing like the pictures that I saw online. The room was very small It did have two beds It should have one for the size of the room. There was no place to hang clothing. The furniture in the room looked like it was in a flood It was all warped and peeling halfway up the bureau the nightstand. The lamp that was on the nightstand was rusty. The room had an odor to it can't explain what it was but there was definitely an odor. The bathroom that they show in the pictures online was nothing like what was in that room. The bathroom was okay but it was just a regular bathroom there was no fancy shower there was no glass doors. The room was very dingy looking. I did go to the office and explain this is not what I thought I was getting He moved us to another room that he said was much better The only difference to that room was it had somewhere to hang some clothing and the furniture was in a little bit better condition. We had no view because we were put all the way into the back of buildings you could not see anything from where we were but the other building in front of us. I did ask about the bathroom he said they only have a certain amount of those and they were all booked. Robert in the office said they were going to remodel this winter. I would not recommend this place. If they do remodel check it out before you go
