- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Fantastic room, lovely hot tub on the rooftop! Friendly staff. Nice facilities overall. Clean and new. Would definitely recommend for long stays especially, great green window views and everything in the room you could need!

  Lobby and check in somehow difficult - walk straight into people eating and other chaos, doors illogical. Location quite far away from everything but very near airport train which was great.

  I was born and grew up in Elizabeth City and it’s always a beautiful blessing for me to be able to visit my family. The location of this Airbnb was great. I’ve stayed in another Airbnb on the same street last year.

  Accommodations met my needs. Safe travels on the road for 9 hours to Elizabeth City to surprise my parents and to wish my dad a Happy 82nd Birthday in person was the best, however, I was not very happy about the initial hospitality upon my arrival to check into this Airbnb. The woman’s voice that echoed behind the man that I was speaking to on the telephone was very cranky and her tone was harsh unnecessarily. It was a long drive and I had hoped for a better first welcoming experience.

  Good location for a short stay in nyc. Clean, with nice staff.

  Out front is a major issue. Our entire stay there was random locals hanging in front of the hotel on the benches and in front of the 7/11. I wouldn’t have cared if they were nice decent people, but they were being loud, swearing, smoking, and being belligerent. Not the way I want to enter and exit your nice hotel.

  Spa was lukewarm Big problem was other people's dogs that were left alone in room barking for 30 minutes at 6 am. I would educate workers that when you "knock on a door" that a dog will expectedly bark once in response to the knock but not be the continuous barker which we did get cleared up as the barking dog started up again while the person was talking with me otherwise I thought staff was great and doing best they could.
