  I was very unpleased that the room wasn't clean prior to us checking in, and I checked in late. After I saw the room wasn't clean, I told the staff who stated that they will clean it the following day. Unfortunately, the room still wasn't clean the whole time of my stay. There was what looked like blood on the sheets and dog food on the floor. I have videos as proof

  What an adorable place to stay! The hotel dates back to the 1930s, and continues to have a very "kitschy" feel- with decor that could have been from the 1950s and some original features -- like the bathroom sink, I am sure. It was comfortable with a small but complete kitchen. We had a separate living area. Had everything we needed.

  The couch/futon had seen better days and is perhaps is in need of replacement. The rooms are tight for two-people-- so warning- we had a queen bed, with little space for suitcases. Note that we had a separate living room (also a bit tight for seating 4 adults); it might have been more comfortable in a more open plan, which is available. Our friends had one large room rather than two small rooms. But for a night or two, it's great!

  This was in a great location close to the beach and right in town. Cute updated room with extra sink microwave and minifridge. The staff were very friendly. It was a great price. We had a nice stay overall and will visit again.

  The floors could have been cleaned better. We found a piece of food and garbage on the floor next to the couch and a used washcloth in the bathtub. The bathroom floors could have been cleaned better also.

  The only good thing about this hotel is the location in proximity to Truist Park. It is a short walk away.
