The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They said they genuinely like working there. The theme is like a campground and they decor is fun with lights in the trees, huge fire pit like a campfire and a nice pool. The room was large and comfortable with tables, chairs, enough places for luggage. Bed was ok. Adequate parking, good location, room was quiet. There is a food truck park around the corner.

We are repeat customers and usually stay at this location twice per year. (We're from IA.) We are usually assigned to room #'s 134, 136 or 138. HOJO is one of very few locations that accommodate my request for an extra pillow prior to my arrival w/o the need to make an additional request once I get there. Room is very well maintained and comfortable

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. The front desk gentleman was very polite and helped me as much as he could.

The staff are very nice and polite. It is not at all as pictured. It is worse than a highway motel…. Upon check-in, I went up to the room and was amazed in every bad way you could imagine. I tried to check out and cancel half hour after check-in or less, I could not have to dispute charge and went to another hotel for my two night stay.

When said Breakfast in room you expect a little bit more than coffee and a cereal bar. Better say no breakfast. The bathroom had a smell of sewage when we turned the shower on. Mattress was not comfortable for more than two nights. The mattress springs were noisy.

Housekeeping doesn’t do a check list because the fridge still has other people’s things in it and a wet towel on the back of the bathroom door. Filth in the sink and on the tub.

We had booked a king room for our anniversary trip, had checked with the hotel prior to arrival if they were available. On arrival they had us downgraded to a 2 bed room, we had paid for a king bedroom and the lady at reception was a little negligent and dint help at all

We stayed from Saturday through Friday and the only room service we had was emptying trash cans and fresh towels. Just kind of gross. Should vacuum and change linen a few times during a week stay.
