- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  After I made the reservation, we required the services of a car for transport to and from the airport. The hotel made sure to get us squared away. Room was amazing with very nice amenities. We will gladly stay again if we ever return to Seattle.

  There was a midge bugs invasion at the time of our stay that made enjoying the property impossible. Nothing I liked about the property can matter when there millions of mosquitoe-like pests covering all surfaces and flying around.

  Fantastic location - though. Chose it as it was close to the Central Park. Also close to 96th Street subway - so convenient to travel to other parts of the city. Staff are polite - no complaints.

  Floor was creaking all along. Carpets in elevators not clean. No breakfast option. We were told a couple of stores close by would give a discount if we showed the room key cards - but they flatly refused to entertain - particulalry the Corner Cafe. Though this may not be the hotel's fault - and more Booking.com's fault. Why does this hotel come up when you choose the "Breakfast Included" option in the Hotel search ? Late evening / night - sometimes the surroundings did not feel all that safe - maybe also due to our 1st time in NYC as well.. Toiletries in the bathroom also need to be improved - no facewash

  Very nice hotel! I love that there’s different places to eat & multiple splash parks to enjoy for the family. Shuttles run for the nearby theme parks which is a plus! I would stay again.
