    - “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

      Breakfast was good. There was a good variety. Our room was a good size. Not too small. Best part of the whole stay was the shower always had hot water! In most hotels it’s lukewarm at best. This hotel always had hot water and it was refreshing!

      We expected to be able to sleep but had a hard time since there was a party with several people happening in the room next to us. The rooms seemed to be pretty sound proof but it’s hard for a room to be sound proof enough next to a literal party. Music bumping, people loudly chatting and laughing. Totally okay during the day but it was 1 am. We just wanted to sleep after a long day. We called to complain but no one did anything about it.

      The free breakfast was nice.

      The room was awful. The bed was sunken in and broken, the sheet and blankets were so worn and thin I couldn’t sleep because I was cold. There were drugs being dealt in the parking lot. Felt like we were in a 3rd world country. Asked to cancel the second night never got a response from the property manager. Asked the next morning when we checked out was told absolutely no refunds. Don’t stay here. Keep driving. I have stayed at a lot of Super 8’s and had great experiences this one is awful.

      Easy to park my boat and charge my batteries. Front desk was very polite and courteous, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable, came with a fridge, plenty of towels, and has a really nice diner right across the street. 10 minute drive to Candlewood Lake too. Great place to stay!
