- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

  Very nice place that was very clean and smelled good. Also liked there was a full size fridge and a glass stovetop. Beds wear comfy and bathrooms clean. Will definitely stay again. Theres no continental breakfast but you can order a hot breakfast for a small fee. Dogs are welcome.

  This is going to be a very long review and I apologize in advance! This hotel is raunchy, ghetto, nasty and apparently the WORKERS are THIEVES so be careful with what card you put on file and mindful of what transactions are being made after checking out of the place! To start, our AC unit stopped working day 1, which it happens but to get it fixed was a hassle. I went down to the office about it that night and had told their clerk, she stated that she was new and was kind of unsure of what to do but she filled out a yellow and pink maintenance slip and told me that the maintenance guy will be in at 8am and should stop by shortly after he gets in, 1pm came around and we heard nothing, then 3pm came and still nothing so by almost 4pm I went down and was like ‘hey, maintenance hasn’t stopped by yet’, not realizing that I was talking to maintenance, so the maintenance guy asks what room and I told him then he says something like ‘this is the first I’m hearing about it and I get off in a couple of minutes but I’ll check it right quick’, so he comes up with me and checks it out to then determine that it needs to be replaced so he says he’ll have to come back tomorrow morning. We agreed on a time for him to come which was 9-10am, he never showed up so I called the front desk around noon, the manager answers and off the bat kinda gets defensive, I told him “hey I was wondering when maintenance was coming?

  I really liked that the house was in a nice, safe neighborhood, and it was great having parking right in front. I also enjoyed the pool with my son.

  Some things could definitely be improved. The floors and carpets didn’t seem very clean, and the biggest issue for me was that the toilet had small brown stains and didn’t appear properly cleaned. There were also quite a few ants in the bathroom, and I even saw a couple on the bed. At night, the main light in the living room stayed on, which normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but our bedroom had a large window with blinds that let some light through. Since I have a toddler, this made it harder for him to fall asleep because the room wasn’t dark enough.
