Tulsa, Oklahoma
This is a very unique hotel as it was built so long ago. It reminds me almost of the Winchester house vibes in California. Old school furniture and decor. The location is downtown which some of the area is old and abandoned and some is brand new so a mix of both. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The first suite we checked into I walked into the bedroom and I felt water dripping on me, it scared me at first but it was water from the AC on the wall. It had been leaking for a while and had soaked up a bunch of water into the rug. The staff moved my room right away, it was just a huge hassle as we had unloading our belongings for our entire family already. The next room was fine and we had a great stay.
Ocean City, Maryland
I’ve booked so many hotels that claimed they were Beachfront or Ocean View, and it turned out they were really 2 blocks from the beach and the ocean was viewed from a tiny gap between two buildings. This place is actually on the beach, with a balcony directly overlooking the ocean. Fantastic views of sunrise!
The room is a little outdated and could use a sprucing up. But it was still clean and comfortable.

The doors have keys and mine was difficult to maneuver.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

It’s in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Amsterdam, with a tram station just 5 minutes away. Important tip: at Materhonne tram station, don’t follow Google Maps, as it shows a 24-minute walk. Simply cross the street toward the hotel and you’ll be right there.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
