A Taste of Tahoe

Great location for exploring north Lake Tahoe and only a short drive to Kings Beach (about 10 minutes). In Kings Beach, we enjoyed kayaking, swimming and eating at Whitecaps Pizza. We even accessed some hiking trails right out of the neighborhood (just down the street from the house) which connect to the Tahoe Rim trail. The back deck is great for relaxing and watching wildlife like chipmunks and birds, and we saw a bear one evening as well! The house is clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, and all is conveniently labeled.

The two smaller bedrooms are quite small and close for adult couples (whereas the master is very spacious) - in the winter this might be cozy but as the weather was warmer they got a bit stuffy even with the windows open. If anyone in your party has mobility issues, note that the front driveway and the stairs to the second floor are both quite steep.

We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. We are able to save by staying here due to their free breakfast, which is not your typical waffles and muffins' actual food, lol. The pool and game room are 24 hrs, and my 7 year old loves the outdoor pool and lazy river. Very close to everything but so quiet. I have orthopedic issues on my back and hip, and after staying many places in Pigeon Forge, I can honestly say they have the most comfortable beds I have slept on while on vacation.

Modern boutique hotel right in the middle of Nomad neighborhood central to everything you need in NYC. Soft beds with beautiful floor to ceiling panoramic view windows. Nice bar and small restaurant inside the lobby with late night snacks also available and a rooftop with nice views.

Room was tiny, but it was fine for a one night trip. The sun was going through the cracks of the window shades and woke me up early in the morning.

Love the aesthetic. Updating an old drive-up motel is pretty genius. Rooms are not overly full of unnecessary items and almost feels like glamping. Food and staff were amazing and honestly reasonably priced for the quality. Nice view of the mountain. Convenient location.

Not sure if room 318 is close to the laundry or something but it was extremely humid in there….like more so than it was outside. I’m glad it was a nice weekend to be able to leave the balcony door open.

Only 3 small blocks from Waikiki beach. Close to many restaurants and supermarkets. Resort fee covers beach chair and towels. Full kitchen with full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and stovetop.

Not clean! When wiping the dinning table and chairs, the wiper turned dark! The shower was a small stream of water. There was a gap at the end of the sofa bed so it’s shorter than normal Queen size. The mattress of the sofa bed is higher at one end and not comfortable. Only 3 elevators and long waiting lines/time were normal. Though claiming partial ocean view, it’s just a gap between tall buildings of neighbors. The stairs to the roof swimming pool is strange, lacking feeling of safety.

That this was a great hotel for families to stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location was accessible to the highway. Breakfast was good.

One thing I didn't like was that there was a table that was left uncleaned for approx. 10 mins and food was everywhere. Two hotel staff personnel passed by the table and no one bothered to clean it until the third staff member stopped to clean it up to make it look presentable.

Our automatic blinds didn’t work. We called the front and the girl was quick to check on them. She said she would send maintenance up, we left in the meantime, they were never fixed and told they would have to wait until tomorrow. We checked out the next day. So it would have done us no good. They did put us in another room upon our request, but it was not as nice as the one we had.

We were there for three nights. Never had clean towels room was not cleaned the entire stay, I had carry towels to the front desk each night to get dry towels.
