When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The staff was gracious, the location was amazing, and the studio was clean and well appointed! We loved sitting by the ocean and watching the waves roll in and the sea birds dive. Highly recommend!!!!

I liked the location of the pet friendly rooms. Thye allowed for ease of taking her in and out. Quite honestly the fact that pets are allowed was a determining factor in choosing your property.

Perhaps a faster coffee maker would be nice.

There was a new bedspread on the king-size bed, which was comfortable. There were plenty of cable channels available on the TV. Motel staff were very nice. This historic motel could have been great if it was in decent condition, but it is not. The restaurant, however, was great. They serve great food and the wait staff were joyful, funny and very professional.

Unfortunately the motel is terribly rundown. The floors were really noisy, flexing and squeaking really badly, especially in the bathroom area. The baseboard by the bathroom was peeling off the wall. There were black spots on the grout and caulking on the shower wall and tub. The shower curtain was in good shape, but the metal curtain rings were rusting and need to be replaced. A stained dish towel was folded atop the sink displaying minimal toiletries, including a tiny bar of soap that felt like sandpaper. There was a makeup spot on one of the two bath towels. Housekeeping obviously didn't change out all the linens. The bath towels were small and thin. Furnishings were out of date and worn. The lamp by the bed was screwed down to the nightstand, presumably so it couldn't be stolen, which makes one wonder about the clientele staying there. Paint was peeling off all the walls and doors on the exterior of the buildings. The motel advertises free breakfast in the adjacent restaurant, but you only get a voucher that applies to a few kids/senior menu items, no coffee included, or you can deduct $2 off a meal from the regular menu. The voucher doesn't even cover the cost of a cup of coffee, which was $2.75. Overall, the stay was a real disappointment.
