It is a lovely old hotel. A great value, comfortable stay, excellent bedding, fantastic location, with friendly staff. It was mostly quiet aside from a dog in the room next door. But it truly was perfect for what we needed (close to downtown, but out of the traffic). In the single overnight we were there, we swam, we went to the local Air Museum, saw Liberace’s former home, walked downtown, had some incredible bagels at Townie’s and we had a wonderful time. Additionally, if you like pupusas or El Salvadorian fare, the restaurant El Salvador Cafe on N. Sunrise Way has some of the best pupusas we’ve ever had north of the border. We’d make the 500 mile drive JUST for them. They’re THAT good.

She’s showing her age, for sure. It didn’t bother us nor make the trip any less enjoyable. But the wear-and-tear on the exterior as well as in the rooms looked lived-in. But I can’t stress this enough, it didn’t make any difference during our stay.

Great location and the room had a full size refrigeration, induction stove, microwave and dishwasher. The breakfast in the morning was good.

The room smelled like a smokers room. A small roach crawled in the bathroom to under the rug in the bedroom and the body soap wasn't refilled properly from housecleaning. There is a charge to park a car overnight.

The hotel was well located for walking along the water and had very easy parking. The staff we encountered were charming and helpful.

The windows in our room opened over the interior public space and as such had to be curtained and closed for privacy. This made the room feel stuffy and too warm.

Comfy bed, clean, good breakfast

Hate the sliding barn doors on bathrooms that are in so many hotels. They don't really close and there's no privacy

The location

The room smelled like weed/smoke. I had to keep requesting clean towels. The ice machine never worked. The female staff (the one with the long dark hair-ponytail) was rude. There was no comforter/warm bedding.

The location is great. Super close to all the places we wanted to visit. Easy access from the rear of the building. Pleasantly surprised by the character of the unit, too.

Lighting in the bedroom could have been a little brighter, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal.

It was an excellent experience, and Arminta (I think that’s her name, she was working graveyard shift) she was super nice and friendly.
