- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  The location in Escanaba was close to everything we needed. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing.

  It was very noisy. When we checked into our room it smelled like cigarette smoke, although the front desk did put us in another room that was the same tier. On our hall, people were very loud and fighting with spouses/kids, and there was so much chaos. They also don’t offer complimentary breakfast anymore which was a bummer because of how expensive the hotel is now. They do have a coffee shop where you can purchase coffee and breakfast downstairs but it’s overpriced and we didn’t like it very much. All in all, it wasn’t terrible but we could have stayed somewhere nicer/quieter I think for the money we spent.

  Very Clean, steps from the bech, our room had 3 double beds. Super reasonably priced.

  It doesn’t have the amenities of Larger hotels like a gym or a fancy lobby, and there’s no breakfast. Which we knew beforehand, so we went to the local places for breakfast lunch and dinner.

  The desk clerk John refused to contact booking.com to process our reservation. He insisted that we contact them. Even after hearing booking. Com say they needed the Quality Inn to contact them not me. We waited over an hour before the reservation was finally approved and given a key to a room. The room had a broken desk chair, broken desk, and water damaged flooring.
