Very nice, clean, comfortable, and had a great view! The kitchen was fully stocked with just about any equipment you would need to do some serious cooking! I didn’t make use of it because I don’t cook while I’m on vacation. I also loved the laundry room, although I didn’t use that either. When we first arrived, the gentleman in the office was there; very friendly, and he said we could text him if had any questions, until 4pm. Lots of construction going on nearby, but it didn’t bother us.

When we were leaving, the office was not open yet, even though it was during their office hours. We wanted to know if they wanted us to empty the trash from the unit, because the previous place we stayed required it. We also needed to turn in our keys. There was no drop box. I texted the mgmt #, as I was told I could when we checked in. No one answered — ever — not even after we left. We finally ran into a nice young man who was pushing a cleaning cart around the grounds, and he opened the office so I could leave the key on the desk. However, he did not speak any English, so when we tried to ask a couple of basic questions, to make sure we had done things correctly before we left, he did not understand us at all. We tried to use different words & gestures to convey what we were saying, but nothing worked. We finally just said ‘thank you’, and he understood that. He was very nice & smiling the whole time. I just wish that if someone is not going to be in the mgmt office, nor answer texts, they should have someone on the grounds that can understand English. No one ever texted me back, or called me to see if I needed assistance. Also, no hanging hooks in the bathroom, nor towel bar by the sink. Only a towel bar by the shower, which got crowded when you have 2 bath towels, a hand towel, and my hair-only towel. There is a snazzy combo microwave-convection oven in the kitchen, but it is shallow, and you have to remove the oven rack of you want to microwave a mug or bowl of something in there. Lots of construction going on nearby, but it didn’t bother us.

The location worked for me. I was too tired to use the hot tub, pool and restaurant although they all looked appealing. The staff was friendly.

Pictures from booking didn’t match the room. I was placed in the wrong room upon arrival and when they went to give me the correct the room it still was not what was booked. It was late and we were frustrated so we just stuck with it. I was hoping to have the room with a balcony over looking the lake like what I had booked. It was one of the highlights me and my fiancé really looked forward to. Hopefully they get it right the next time we go.

The check in staff weren’t as nice very straightforward and not overly friendly. The bathroom was not clean there was soap scum on the shower door and mold in between showers sliding door
