- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Customer service was so good! I had requested an early check in which was accomodated, and was able to check in around 8:30 am. Sweet lady checked me in, she was having issues with the computer, she needed assistance from another worker, which they both apologized, and were extremely nice. The bed was super comfy. Room was clean, and the air conditioning was amazing!

  The location is a little loud being so close to 431, which is expected. Could've used some more towels and one looked a little stained, one of the lights by the TV didnt work.

  Lynna is very kind and thoughtful towards guests. The keypads are great to not have to carry keys around. The location is the perfect jumping off point to explore Brunswick and St Simons. It's right around the corner from the historic Victorian homes.

  Our A/C wasn’t working so the Manager on duty quickly moved us to another room….great night’s sleep. Clean indoor pool and hot tub area.

  The morning guy stocking the breakfast had no coffee; we had to wait 15-20 minutes to get coffee. We went down around 7:30 ….. no waffle batter, no milk, no syrup, seemed very late in stocking the breakfast items - first time we have had this situation at any hotel; frustrating and disappointing.

  Staff was ok check out morning tried to get off the elevator & got blocked on by woman with cart & instead of backing it up & letting us by she just stood there then finally moved one corner to let us by & wasn't even the way we needed so the other lady was like y'all need to go this way to check out which we already knew which way to go the woman moved the wrong way. Our room was not clean we found black hairs in the bed & on the towels. Breakfast wasn't even breakfast we got stale old granola bars & pop tarts what is that???

  Reserved a king room for 2 nights and was put into a queen room for 2 nights. Food was left in refrigerator and it also had what looked like mold growing inside of it. Dried urine on the top side of toilet seat. You could see where something had been spilled on night stand and not cleaned. Floor appeared to be unswept.
