- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   If you need a room for the night to rest your weary body, then this is a fair choice. It has what you need. A refer, a microwave, a king bed. It was clean and simply decorated. The bed was comfy, I didn't wake up with a head or back ache.

  It is a austere room. If you're looking for the kind of room that is warm and cozy, this is NOT it. While nicely decorated, it was rather bleak. I always appreciate a room with a soft chair to sit in. The only chairs in this room were two hard desk chairs and a wooden table. Nothing more. I was a little concerned with crime in the area. The car outside my room had a flat tire. When I went out the next morning, the car next to me was flat too. I'm not sure if this was a coincidence or not but it's a little concerning if these two were indeed related. They have a very minimalistic continental breakfast. Nothing to get excited about. So, for the value of this room, it's rather borderline.

  The breakfast was your standard continental breakfast. It was fair but nothing special. The only true positive thing I can say about the place is its location.

  The facilities are extremely outdated. It's clear they are trying to update the rooms but when we stayed there were rolled up carpets, and piles of furniture stacked up all other the place. Our room had newer carpet but the room smelled of smoke even though it was marked as a smoke free room and pretty much only got updated with new paint. Even the bedding had cigarette burns from a previous stay. It was a place to stay and that's about it.

  The location was convenient. The property was clean and well maintained. The furnishings were new and in good condition.

  Although the room had a kitchenette, the facility did not have any plates, bowls, silverware, or cooking equipment available to use - even to check out. The room did not have place to put a suitcase, or any kind of table (apart from a desk).

  I hated it ....worst place ever to stay they are invested with ROACHES ....prostitutes were staying right across from me they were selling drugs and them selves in the hallways and I the parking lot they dont even give u clean ice buckets. The refrigerator in me and my kids room wasn't working the bathroom was horrible the toilet kept over flowing .....IT WAS A ALL OUT NIGHTMARE!!
