Desk clerks were extremely helpful, kind, and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean and well stocked with towels. Was happy that there was a refrigerator in room, so that I could keep a few items for breakfast. The park entrance was about 5 minutes away, and downtown of Bar Harbor 10 minutes away. Excellent BBQ place and lobster pound within walking distance. Coffee/vending machine room had some books and games available. Got a great last minute price!

Location was good, though I couldn't quite see the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was immaculately clean. Spacious bathroom with good selection of amenities.

Rock-hard bed. Noisy on stairwells from people talking late at night. Posted internet code in my room was not the right one. No coffee maker. Very spartan and utilitarian.

Hotel allows non-electric vehicles to park in EV-only parking spots. Neighborhood made me unsure if my car would be secure since there were people sitting in their cars just hanging out late at night in the parking lot.

Our room wasn’t clean properly and the bathroom had long black strand of hair on the toilet seat. Shower look as if they tried to patch it up and somebody hair stuff was still in the shower area. In the closet there was someone black shirt on the floor. The beds look as if it was half made up and what kind of pillows were those because it look as if they were home made and then housekeeping or whom ever cleaned the room didn’t change the pillow cases because why two of them were turned inside out. So we were very tired and had a long day and my Husband did want to make a fuss but I wanted to because these rooms are not free and we work hard for our money.

I would appreciate an additional locking system for the door. Just turning the lock on the inside does not provide enough safety for me.
