San Francisco, California
Every single thing!! The staff was phenomenal and very accommodating with my disability. We felt safe (left the windows and balcony door open all night), and the secure parking was a stress relief. The Inn's location couldn't have been better. It was super close to everything we wanted to do. If we go back to San Francisco, we will definitely stay here.
While it didn't bother us due to the time of year, no AC could be problematic in the warmer months. However, if you ask, they have portable AC units. It was loud outside throughout the night, but nothing one wouldn't expect while staying in a large city and not the Inns fault.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk. Included breakfast was decent, the waffle maker was very cool to see usually you don’t see those with an included breakfast. Staff was very communicative and friendly. Our stay was very short but there was nothing we can complain about.
The only thing I can say we didn’t really like was the parking was extremely limited. But the staff was very helpful to make sure those who had a room had a parking spot. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, some dirty corners and chipped wall but that didn’t bother us too much.

Didn’t try breakfast because we slept in.
Bathroom was small . The man that checked us in didn’t give us an actual receipt for the card payment he asked for. We didn’t get proof at checkout either. Very nervous about being charged twice because booking .com billed me . There’s a big story behind the mix up of my stay because they had me down for 2 rooms not one when I called prior to stay to add an extra night. Owner of facility got involved was a huge misunderstanding! Still waiting for confirmation if I was Billed twice.

The room its self was fine
The staff. I had to stay longer than booked. Because people didn't know what they were doing, they ended up being rude to me. At one point after helping the person in front of me, I was left standing there because they walked away because they didn't want to help me. It was never the same person, and nobody communicated with each other. Their frustrations were taken out on me and they spoke to me rudely. I was told not to "crash out" on someone because they needed a second to figure out what was going on? I needed to add a room to my stay and the person told me that they can't help me do that because rooms were being cleaned? This was a business trip and the absolute worst stay Out of town, which I do often. I have ever had.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
