San Ysidro, California
When I checked in, I got room 117 and went to the room to relax. I came back a few hours later to find out the front desk rented 117. I want an apology and money return. I had to wait to get to 217 felt very unsafe, and it smelled like Marijuana. Had no choice but to stay there after the whole misunderstanding and responsibility of the front desk.
My room was taken. I came back to try to open my room, and there was someone else there occupied. Very unprofessional!

Easily walkable convenient location. Large room and lanai. Seating options in courtyard to view marina, sunset, free hula and fireworks Fridays. Free daily waters and ice cream is a nice perk!
Pools close too early 6 pm 2nd floor, 7:30 pm lobby most hotels stay open until 10 pm and no hot tub, not enough shade umbrellas. This is a high-end priced property, needs a little bit updating/modernizing for the price.

Location is quite central. Good spacious room. However, the sofa bed is not comfortable for sleeping multiple nights. Housekeeping was great. The front desk was also helpful.
When we arrived, there was no space to offload the luggage from our car as the valet space was already occupied by two cars who had arrived at the same time on a busy street. So was a bit of a struggle managing that. Secondly, the front desk lady gave a great idea to download an app and reserve a parking area at the nearby parking lot for a much discounted price. This information could've been sent by email before arriving and would've saved me 40 dollars and saved me some hassle.

The room was very nice. I loved how spacious the room was and there was a shower and a tub separated.
I am a Vegas resident and I was staying at a hotel for a few days I should not have been charged $20 a day for parking automatically. I didn't like the long walk to and from the parking lot. There needs to be an easier way to get to and from your car through the casino. No one knew good directions to guide me to the parking structure. Anytime I would ask someone how to get to the hotel from the mall 3 people that worked at planet Hollywood said walk straight and make a left. And they were all wrong with their directions. There should be more signs showing guests how to get to the parking structure and the rooms from the mall and all.
