  Our room was just perfect! The bed was comfortable, the closet and cabinet space was adequate for the amount of clothes we bought. The food in the dining facilities was innovative and delicious. Our room was in a very quiet area in the hotel, which, by the way, was exceptionally clean. The maid service was exemplary and always done early in the morning, so we did not have to waste time waiting to return to our room after a day out as we did recently in another hotel you book rooms for in Toronto, whose name starts with a "B,"

  Great location, walking distance to airport and Little Italy. Probably one of the cheaper hotels you’ll find in San Diego that offers free, convenient parking. Having a smart TV is a huge plus as well

  The lock on our door didn’t lock all of the way, only had to rely on the deadbolt which made us feel quite unsafe. There were a bunch of random stains on the curtain, the ceiling, and comforter… The shower also leaked a ton of water onto the bathroom floor. Just didn’t feel very well kept or maintained. Also didn’t provide any toiletries aside from soap (no shampoo/conditioner, lotion, hair dryer, etc.)

  Clean and modern property. Good location to explore Laguna and surrounding area (can access LA and San Diego at around 1.5 hours each).

  Unless you call through to specifically ask for light touch room service (pick up wet towels, deliver fresh towels, take out trash), they do not come. 25$ per night for parking is ludicrous, they know you cannot go anywhere else.
