We liked the space. The bedrooms were a good size. There were 2 baths and a decent sized common area. We were a group of 4. The house was good for that size. There was a nice pool, beach and petting zoo and even a riding stable (though reservations are hard to get if you're not a home owner.) The water activities at the beach are only available on weekends.

The renters previous to us brought a dog so there was dog hair in the common area. I contacted the owner to ask for the cleaning staff to return and the owner was responsive. Honestly I think the cleaning staff needs to be improved. The house could have been cleaned better. Additionally there were 2 half rolls of paper towels, 2 half rolls of toilet paper and one full roll. Again I think the cleaning staff could have done better with providing the paper products.

I enjoy scents (perfumes, colognes, etc.) but scent in the lounge was overwhelmingly strong. The specific lot the hotel is on is a little sketchy. Parking is an additional $25 PER CAR PER NIGHT, and the parking lot isn’t gated so anyone can come onto the lot. There was a security car parked in the lot with its patrol lights on, but nobody was in the car. It was also parked closest to the hotel and there seemed to be some potentially suspicious activity in the back of the lot so it felt a bit unsafe to park your car towards the back. Unfortunately, the front of the lot was full, we had to park in the back. Thankfully, our vehicle was unharmed. To justify the cost of the parking, it is necessary to provide a security gate, cameras, and active security staff.

The location- it was located in a very random location. Google maps took us a very strange way but then we realized a much more efficient way back downtown. Wish it was closer to Wofford to be able to stay there while visiting my daughter!

When I entered the stairwell to go to my room, the stairs were covered in some brown sticky fluid. When I entered my room, there was trash on the floor. When I woke up the next day, I had some strange bites on my body. There was mold in the shower. The shower floor was gross. Overall, it was in need of some work.
