The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  The breakfast wasn't what you advertised on the website. There was no pancakes being freshly made and the powered eggs were runny. No bacon. The AC was broken and they accompanied me with a desk fan. It still was very humid in the building. The Valet lost the top of my Keychain unacceptable even though I had already told her it was loose, she still insisted on my spouse given her the whole Keychain. No one has found my Keychain yet and it cost me a lot of money to get it replaced. You need to have a more variety of food. More fruit and I mean fresh fruit salad and a restaurant that stays open pass 1am.

  I didn't like the room. It was very small and not acceptable to me. Your website had the room very spacious and clean. For $300 and downtown Cleveland hotels would be beautiful, but you did disappoint me with that. The location is nice. The hotel needs a uplift and the inside. Staff was polite and friendly. I needed extra towels they were prompt even with providing me with a fan. You need more than one worker at the front desk. Even though the receptionist was professional and understanding. The line was long to check in.

  Close to some of the locations that i was going too. It was right off the main road, easy on and off. Breakfast was ok Nice sitting area in living room.

  I physically feared for my vehicle and my belongings. There were multiple groups of people lurking in the parking lot late at night smoking pot. The hotel representative loudly announced my room number to everyone in the lobby. My room was trashed and hadn’t been cleaned. We had to leave. I was promised a refund and when bookings reached out to the hotel to get approval, my refund was denied. Not to mention the email from the hotel at the time of booking said there would be a $50 deposit due, when I got there the associate told me $60. When I pushed back, he caved. Worst hotel experience ever.

  Rooms and hotel interior very dated. No included breakfast and only one coffee packet in our room for the morning. Pool ok but could be more child friendly. Now shallow areas for kids. Needs some updates.
