- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   The breakfast was excellent. I love the front desk the lady's was awesome. I love how they can in every day to clean the room, and put fresh towels i the bathroom and linen on the bed. When I get a hotel somewhere else I have to pack extra towels for the bathroom.

  Breakfast was basic but good. Had continental items and hot waffles. There were several choices for coffee and different juices. We had issues upon check-in, but were compensated nicely upon check-out by the manager of the hotel. That was much appreciated.

  When we arrived, we were given our room on the second floor. As we travel with a lot of luggage, we were distraught when we found out that the elevator was out of order. When we checked in, we were not given any other options as there were no more rooms available on the 1st floor. My husband and I are both over 75 yrs of age. We were not expecting any special concierge service, as the hotel was considered a budget level hotel. We would have chosen a different lodging had we known. We will know to ask about this type of issue in future bookings.

  Motel is quiet even though there is a truck stop across the street.

  Breakfast offered between 6am to 9am. Spouse and I went in around 8am. Was barely any eggs left for 2 people. They offered sausage links and sausage patties, which there was only 2 links and 1 sausage patty cut in half. There was 2 pieces of burnt toast left in the toaster also. Very little selection of breads, breakfast muffins, bagels, ect. Don't count on breakfast at this location. Go next door to Denny's. Stayed in a King room. Wasn't even a desk in room for computer use. Working remotely isn't easy without a desk.

  the room was very outdated. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with a huge dip in the matress. Also the bed skirt and cover had major stains on them. The cost was extremely high for the quality of the stay. I've payed half this price for much nicer rooms even in SF.
