  Worst hotel I had ever seen. Old, toilet blocked, no hair blow dryer, bed cover old and smell bad, towel with black dirt on it. It really messed up my trip by staying at this kind of hotel. Called the front desk for blow dryer, they said would check and let me know, then didn’t called back. I called again they said sorry they don’t have it, I said if I know I wouldn’t booked your hotel, they said we can give you free breakfast at 7am for this inconvenience, oh, breakfast not included in booking price.. I need to leave at 4am thanks. In cold weather, I slept with my wet hair on a smelly bed, with broken toilet. What else can I say…

  We love the retro theme of the motel. It is so cute and comfortable. Each room is numbered a year starting with 1950 and then the room has been decorated with pictures of important events or people from that year. The first time we stayed in room 1952 with pictures of a boxer (I can't remember his name). This time we stayed in room 1986 with pictures from Top Gun. We travel through Cortez often and this is now where we stay each time. The property has lawns with chairs, tables, swings, a big chess board, a ping pong table, an outside grill, etc. It makes you want to be outside as much as possible.

  This is a beautiful boutique hotel, the building and artwork is very engaging and it's just a pleasure to walk through the rooms and appreciate all of the works. Our room was very, very quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and talking with all of the other guests was very interesting.

  The bed was way too soft with the mattress topper provided, once we removed that it was fine. I would have also liked to have some darker curtains, just a bit too much light came in during the night.

  If I lost everything that I didn’t like I will never finish. I’ll list a few. The sheets had stains. The bathroom was dirty, the door had a hole and the things were you hand the towels was broken, basically there’s wasn’t anything to put the towels to hold. When we got there the place smelled like marijuana even inside de hotel in the lobby. There’s was people outside their room on the door just looking around. We checked in late and we had to wait like 10 minutes for someone to help us checked in.
