Location is excellent to get to and about 15 minutes from DC. Gracious host who allowed us to use her grocery discount account. We had use of our own kitchen and of course cable and free computer access codes.

The hotel room left MUCH to be desired, and for what we paid we could've stayed at another chain with a better room, I know because we were in Peoria 10 days prior. The drapes, window heating/cooling device, ceiling, & floor were all stained with drops of some type of black substance. The fixtures go back to late 1990's, the couch had a sunken in spot, the desk had a station to plug things in- that didn't attach to anything, and the tub, the bottom was covered with an I don't know what to stop you from seeing the rust. Finally the smell, the smell was like a damp closet that hadn't been opened for a few years. When we came in the room was 78° in August & the cooling system was OFF! We turned it down to 68° and went out for dinner hoping the smell would clear and the room would be cool upon our return. The room only ever made it to 70°, but the smell- it was still there. We were to tired from traveling so we went to bed since it was only 1 night. The breakfast was meh, Jimmy Dean things- that were warm- props to not having to nuke them yourself- cereal and bakery items. Zero decent protein offerings, not even Greek yogurt. Luckily we were only there for 1 night- we won't be back. If you do decide to stay refuse room 229.

I had a six day stay and not one of our days was our room actually cleaned the bed was made once and that was it for their cleaning the luggage carts was awful and half the time getting one off of the staff was really difficult if I wanted to handle my own luggage they made it difficult. Also as much as I paid for the king suite you would think I wouldn’t have to pay extra for parking but nope they charge extra for that. I could say more but those were my big problems with this stay I have been coming to ocmd for 30 years and this was my first time here and will definitely be my last

Needs to be renovated. Bathroom sink discussing. Everything needs painting. Window treatments in bad shape. Bedspreads should have been replaced a year ago. Paid $184 for a very disappointing stay!
