Started off great at the front desk. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel looked brand new and very spacious. The room was clean and modern looking. Very close to the airport and interstate. Went down for a Nebraska football game and it was perfect. We brought our Ford Lightning EV and were able to charge overnight. This might be the only place we’ll stay at in KC.

That it was advertised as a 3 star when it should be rated as a 1 and decent - NOT 'very good'. I think the good ratings from customers are AI or they reside in an uncleanly habitats. I was glad to have just stayed one night. Left first thing in the morning. The rate was cheap and you absolutely get what you pay for. A plus there were no bed bugs. I felt like I stayed in a prison cell with stark lighting which probably was good because I did not want to see how dirty the room was. Bathroom floor tile was gross and not finished. The tub and sink clogged. The floor in the room was not vacuumed or swept. Mattress was uncomfortable. It was too small for 2 adults and 2 kids 9 & 12. A post previous to mine said the pool water was murky. It was also murky during our stay. They have public swimming lessons so the pool for guests was available at 7 pm. I empathize with staff who may receive complaints as front line staff. Shame on whoever owns this place and management. Do better. Not surprised when I checked out that the staff didn't ask how my stay was.

They don't clean daily. We had to go get more towels & wash cloths. We were there for 3 days & 2 nights. When I booked the hotel on booking.com, it was very misleading. This was my birthday weekend. I booked two Queen sized beds, a pull out couch with a balcony. When I arrived, I was told there is no pull out couch nor balcony. I would have had to stay on another side of two hotels that are now joined together & pay more! I would like to have a partical refund for this mistake as I learned that it was no fault of the hotel staff & moreso on the website. Although the hotel was gorgeous & ABSOLUTELY AN AMAZING STAFF, this stay was very misleading & inconvenient.

Our room stank of dog poop. And the whole place smelt unclean and unsanitary. While I appreciate this, is a pet friendly facility. Dogs should not be allowed on beds and counters. Our counter smelt like dog poop. The place needed proper sanitizing. Despite spraying stuff to help with the smell. It was still strong. I have nothing against dogs except being allergic. The carpets were dirty. How this place got an 8.9 review is beyond me.

I was nervous about bedbugs and/or roaches due to the poor cleanliness of the room. Tried cleaning up a bit and you can look at the napkin and see for yourself how dirt just a small portion of the floor was. Stayed one night, there’s no way it should be that dirty going into the room. It was also mildew growing on the bed and the AC unit, as pictured. We couldn’t take a shower because we were worried about cleanliness.
