- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   This is a great location tucked into a neighborhood. It's very close to the beach but you can't see it from the rooms. I was disappointed that the Jacuzzi was out of order our entire stay because I did choose this hotel based on the fact it had one. Our room was very clean and I liked the Keurig better than most hotel coffee makers. The only room disappointment was the fridge, it's actually a mini bar. We took items out and replaced them upon leaving. We did check with the front desk before doing so. We also used the beach chair umbrella package for a nice beach day. it was an extra charge of $25 but very worth it! There are bikes for rent but I felt those had too high a charge or should have been free so we didn't use them. I would stay here again!

  I liked that it was on the boardwalk and there was indoor pool, the arcade, stocked vending machines, could see the ocean from my room.

  very dirty, room was dirty, shower was dirty, wall in bathroom looked like it was coming off, moldy air conditioner, room smelled musty, outside in the parking lot was also really dirty, trash everywhere, the pools didn't look clean and the water was murky.

  I liked that it’s very close to the airport and that there is a shuttle service.

  The aesthetic, the shower head was rusty and needs to be changed and the bathroom had a weird smell. Also, the old guy at the front desk who worked the night shift was very annoying and inefficient. I had informed the hotel through booking (description) that I would need a shuttle for 4am. I also told the same old guy the day before that I would need the shuttle service at 4am, but when I went to confirm, he told me that the shuttle was full and that I should’ve informed them (even though I did). I had to book an Uber to take me to the airport for my flight. While I was waiting in the lobby, another guest came to ask the receptionist (old guy) about the 4am shuttle and I heard him tell the guy that there’s no 4am shuttle and that the service starts at 4:30. But the night before he told me that the 4am shuttle was full, which was an unnecessary lie.
