I didn’t stay at this location. The rating is got Saugus. The staff tried to help with the mix up in the online reservation and gave me a deal.

No breakfast and we had a dog barking nonstop next door starting at 4:50 am. I could not get back to sleep and gave up at 6:00 am. I complained to the front desk after 30 minutes but they were no help.

Location. I returned to m y home town for a family gathering and funeral. The location was perfect.

It is run down. The bedspreads had holes in them, the sofa looked stained and smelled. No coffee maker. No soap in the shower and the towels are basically rags. No refreshments in the lobby - I know this was a budget motel and the location perfect. just thought it would be more kept up because of the area and the the beach town environment. The maid NEVER cleaned the room. Then on my final night - the bathroom pipes broke - the room was flooded - I had to pack up everything and sit outside while the hotel manager mopped and cleaned, the manager and I were at odds for a while - he wanted me to leave and go find another place to stay - and at midnight I told him I could not. He had no other rooms available. I wasn't about to get in an UBER and drive all over town and search for another place to stay. I am an elder person - so this was beyond challenging. He did clean the room as best he could and I ended up staying and checked out in the morning to catch my train. I am satisfied that he mopped and we resolved the issue - but he did have a sharp attitude about it was somehow my fault, that I should leave and no apology, no real concern this was happening to a "guest" who booked the room for 3 nights. No Customer Service. I should have been compensated for at least that night - let alone the stay. He was very rude - I was being pleasant and he - again acted like he was the one being put out. I am happy I did not have to sit out on the street at night or look for a place. I guess you get what you pay for. But if you are going to run a motel - treat the PAYING guests like they are guests. And finally as I was checking out - not one "Thank You for Staying - "We apologize for the inconvenience". I want my money back!!!!!! This was my home town - I had a funeral and church service all weekend. He could care LESS.

The property smelled moldy. Shower has huge slope for drainage which made it awkward to shower. TV was very small. Check out was at 10:00 am. Cleaning fee was very high.
