Our cooler/heater would not go low.. using wall monitor on "off"was still going full speed on cool. Until the 2nd night bout 2 am, fan went to low & then clicked every few seconds, kept me awake. Made the office aware of issue 1st few moments of being in room 310.. it worked when maintenance was there, after lowering the temp in the room, it didn't go lower in fan level until after midnight of 2nd night... was there to rest after surgery, so not very restful. Will be there again for 2nd surgery on 4/29, 4/30, & 5/1... hoping for a more reliable comfort zone with refer & micro... will update after those dates... hoping for the best ad I can't afford anything else.

The location is close to shops and restaurants. It is right on the Promenade with a large window overlooking the beach and ocean. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bed is too tall. Very difficult to climb up onto. Also, mattress is ultra firm. No comfy chair in the room to sit in to read or watch TV or watch the beach and ocean.

There were no bugs. The check in clerk was nice. The furniture was newish. Since there are no great options for breakfast, Denny's is in the same parking lot.

I normally do not leave reviews or complain, but dishonesty and theft are things I just can't ignore. I have waited 3 days for this to be corrected, and it has not Let me start from the beginning. At check in the kind clerk told me there is a $25 deposit. It is not in the booking.com listing. I check for those because I feel a couple of different ways about it. 1. Deposits are because you have criminal types of people staying there. 2. You do not trust anyone, I do not want to give you my money. This clerk is probably not the one that came up with this idea, so I did not give him a hard time about it. I paid it without protest. I checked booking.com again, it's not there. I get in the room and it has a weird smell. Sort of like a sweaty kid with a melted lollipop. Sticky, sweet, sweat. The furniture in the room looks fairly new and more modern. It all has greasy handprints on everything. Nothing has been wiped down. I go to get cleaning supplies. The bathtub and toilet have gray paint all over them, it's like someone dumped a gallon of paint in both and left it. The walls are painted poorly, and it really brings down what could have been a nice renovation. When I flush the toilet, about 2 gallons of water ( I hope that is what it was) leaks all over the floor. I clean that up. After a bit, I take off my shoes and just walk in the main area less than 5 minutes, my socks are black. This floor has not been mopped probably ever. When going to bed, the mattress is a thin foam over some cheap inner spring with no support. The big handles on the sides of the bed are intended to hold a tall mattress. This is not what is happening, and the placement of them is right where you would try to get up from the bed. It becomes a hurdle. In the morning I shower. The water is just over room temperature. No hot water here. The mirror at the vanity is fantastic. It has great light and was clean.

Reserved a king bed was given 2 queens. Poor water pressure in shower and sink. No non pork meat options available at breakfast. The store in the hotel is not open 24 hours and the only option is 7-11 about a block away.
