We loved our stay at The Grand Guesthouse! The location is perfect. It's walking distance to almost everything, and if it's too far to walk, there is a nearby bus stop to grab the free Duval loop bus. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The outside patio area is beautifully landscaped and a perfect place to sit and enjoy breakfast. A lovely place for a get away. We will definitely stay here again!

Other people can stand around in walkways and mingle in the hotel main lobby wherever larger groups of people were mingling in the walkways, if you wanted to park in the back to have access to your room quickly or to view your car from your window you cannot do this.

Did not like the location They had beer on their menu both at the rooftop bar and the bar in the lobby but we were told of both places that they don’t carry beer anymore… After a long day of being out, it’s nice to know you can come back to your hotel and have a nice cold beer. They should take it off the menu. Also, we could not have lunch at the hotel because the red top did not open until 4 o’clock and there was a women’s gambling convention in the downstairs lobby in Restaurant….. we had invited friends to come there and join us for lunch, but had to go somewhere else We pay way too much for our stay there to not have this information ahead of time Definitely will not recommend or return

The room we were in smelled really bad, like someone did not bathe for days or even weeks. Seems like that room should have been put out of order on how stinky it was. We asked for a different room but was denied due to me ordering online.
