- “Diamond Beach Resort is located in Ao Nam Mao, so it is a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang Beach and Railay Beach. To us this was a bonus because the resort was peaceful and relaxing and those attractions were located near enough to easily visit. The ferry to Railay Beach is a short 5 minute walk away and Ao Nang Beach is about a 10 minute drive. We rented a motorbike for ~ 8 USD per day and easily went back and forth between destinations. The staff here is fabulous! Very kind and friendly, and always more than happy to assist with questions about sightseeing, finding restaurants and places to go, arranging transportation, etc. The little beach cottages are very cute and well equipped with air conditioning, showers, and a mini fridge. A beautiful oasis to return to cool off and relax.”

  Tony was VERY helpful. The system was acting up at check in but once I was given an open room and working key card, everything was fine! The hotel is clean, and the King room is plenty big enough; the bed is firm but I thought it was comfortable. Breakfast is basic but there are plenty of options - eggs, meat, bread/muffins, cereal, & waffle and coffee stations. I read a number of reviews, many of which detailed an experience similar to mine. Those with negative comments shouldn't dissuade you from choosing to stay at this location - nothing always goes as planned but if you have realistic expectations and a good attitude about what might not, you should be just fine!

  The guy at night had messed up I wasn't even in the system so I got called down and had to talk to some guy and girl and they did everything they could so we could stay like our reservation said. Even in a bad situation they were very professional and super friendly.

  The room was not cleaned. Dust all over mold all.over and the bathroom was filthy. They had no more rooms and refused to refund the one night security deposit. I had to sleep in the rental car before moving to another hotel. It was that bad

  This hotel is in the process of being remodeled but, is still a mess! The slide and hot tube in the sad looking pool area do not work. The first room we went to the carpet was filthy! Went down to the front desk and she said every person she had given a room to that night had came back asking for a different room. Large bags of trash and underwear were in the hallway. They have no extra pillows or working fans. Even though the room has been remodeled it still feels old and out dated and dirty. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 and stay somewhere else.

  Our room was right next to a room that was being renovated so lots of noise, the balcony overlooked a dirty rooftop and was an obstructed view and of course lots of noise from the room next door being renovated could not enjoy myself on the balcony. The staff over charged on the deposit when it clearly stated a different amount when booking. I paid for parking with valet and then the staff tried to have me repay when checking out stating I was suppose to pay them and not valet. Valet requested the money upon arrival and the staff never asked for the money when checking in as I confirmed I had already paid the valet.

  Staff was rude and not welcoming at all! I've stayed before a couple times and was nothing like it was now . Coffee was literally hot water and asked of they could make more because of it and got told they just did and didn't care it was like that.
