  This hotel is conveniently located just outside of the Venice downtown area and along a main road so it was very easy to find and navigate from there. The room felt safe and was well cleaned prior to and during our stay. It's not a luxury room, but was in good condition with all of the necessities for a comfortable stay. The pool and hot tub were great, and breakfast was reasonably priced and excellently prepared. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was free and convenient to the room entrance. Fridge and microwave were in good shape.

  The water from the sink/shower smelled like sulfur and was undrinkable. We had to buy jugs of water for the room. The door lock was glitchy and would take several attempts to open the door. Our mattress was quite uneven - a large "hill" in the middle with deep depression on one side – not exactly uncomfortable, but showed some uneven wear.

  The bed was super comfortable and loved how we were able to make the room temperature to our liking. The staff was super friendly.

  I know the staff are busy making upgrades to this hotel. That being said, there was trash underneath the bathroom counters. Some of the outside doors did not lock. I stood in line for over 20 minutes to pay for drinks out of the snack bar.
