The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  The location was perfect for where we where we were going. I like the sleeper sofa. I like to stay in hotels that only have it. I like the breakfast options as well. I wasn't in the room to much other than to sleep, so I didn't notice if something was dirty or not.

  I didn't like that the toilets didn't flush without you standing there holding it. I didn't like the fact that it didn't have any toiletries (extra soap, or lotion) and I didn't like that it didn't have a hot tub.

  It was a cheap option for holiday weekend. A bed and shower for the night and tv worked too.

  The room smelled terrible. There was an old coffee pot in the room on the floor with no coffee. Advertised free breakfast, but nothing available, or provided. Lucky we brought soda and chips. The pillows were hard on the bed, difficult to sleep. Just one bath towel and no washcloths. The floors outside made of concrete were buckled on each level... like they could collapse at any moment. Right by the freeway, noisy locale.

  About the only things was The locationof the neighborhood was nice. It was also clean.

  The listing was 3 bedroom sleeps up to 8. Furniture was cheap. The kitchen was equipped with 4 placings. The refrigerator was not freezing so there was a portable ice maker on the counter. The living room had seating for 3 with an old sofa. The dining area had a tiny kitchenette. In that room was a broken window (plexi-glass) taped. The lower bathroom had cracked window. The back porch had a broken step going to an overgrown back yard. The central air was only for the 1st floor. The second floor had portable A/C's. There are electrical issues warning us not to plug things in together. This was bad. Definitely an electrical issue. There was also an issue with the bath & 1st floor kitchen.
