Hotel was easy to find and the staff were really friendly. They have a good pet friendly outside patio area with a stage where they have regular entertainment. There is a drive through next door that serves coffee and breakfast items.

Room is a bit dated and could need some updating. Towel rail fell of wall and water ran from shower area over onto the bathroom floor. Be aware that the bar and casino area is above the rooms so can be noisy at times. Each room has a sitting are outside of the door. We did not use it because it didn't look like it had been cleaned for a while.

We loved the old classic styling of the Gould. Parking, entrance, room were all lovely. The gentleman we spoke with at check out was also the kitchen manager. He was very helpful.

There were bedbug eggs on the box spring. The furniture was rotting and falling apart. The door knobs and counter tops were sticky. The doors and walls were black with dirt. The room had not been vacuumed. There were stains and cigarette burns on the blankets. We left and did not stay the night. We were refused a refund even after explaining everything.

I did not like that the pictures on the website did not match the room inwqs given. The TV didn't work, there were holes in the wall, broken sink, paint coming off the wall, room was definitely not cleaned prior to arrival. Trash on the ground and under the bed. Dogs barking all night.
