- “I loved the size of our room, so spacious to have a one bedroom mini apartment with a kitchen if we needed and a tiny view of the bridge, but otherwise surrounded by nature. I had the morning sun hitting me during my coffee in the kitchen every day and the entire space, including the bathroom, felt very modern and new. It was also a 13min walk down to the ortakoy ferry stop making travel super easy and a great base for exploring istanbul. The staff were very kind and esmail especially helped me practise my turkish which was kind of him! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 4 nights because we enjoyed the comfort of the place that much!”

  Convenient staff always cordial, typical for a king room, cold fridge, shower good water pressure, dining table, dresser etc. We like to sleep in do no banging carts or screaming back n forth, cleaning crew is always respectful and quieter than a lot of places we've stayed

  1st night TV didn't work so early to bed, had to switch TVs next day no problem, flat pillows, not enough lighting in sink area so very hard to see to put makeup on, still typical for most motels

  The staff at The Franklin were very friendly and helpful with transportation and restaurant recommendations. The bed was comfortable and the shower strength was good. I felt very safe on the first floor with hall and room security.

  The window in my first floor room had to stay covered because it looked into the dining space, not outdoors, so next time I will ask for a room on a higher floor.

  The room smelled musty upon arrival & everytime we came back to the room after being out. Despite leaving the ac on, the room was not cool when we returned from eating or shopping. The people above us were very noisy & the people in room 219 next to me always yelling & arguing.
