The location is also perfect if you have bikes, as it makes it easy to explore the beautiful surrounding beaches. - “These are small but practical bungalows directly at the beach. Two or three bungalows are directly seafront, the remaining ones are behind, with a side sea view. Anyway all of them very close to a beach in a beautiful garden with high trees. During our stay the tide was low during mornings when the water goes back a few hundreds of meters and the tide was high in the evening with convenient swimming in the water. The staff is very friendly and will give you detailed information about the accomodation and island. The bungalows are small but convenient and well working. There's a private bathroom in the bungalows. The bed was pleasant with perfectly clean sheets. The location is very convenient. It's easy walking distance from the port and center, still it's in very quiet natural place. The food court is also very close. We enjoyed our stay here very much.”

  Property was large, had basketball court, decent breakfast, pool til 8 pm, spacious room with 2 king beds as advertised both comfortable, plenty of parking available. There was a restaurant within 5 min walk and gas station at the bottom of the hill. Plenty of snack options at all hours available at decent prices. Staff was courteous and helpful throughout the whole stay. Would stay again

  It was pet friendly and had everything we needed for a short vacation. Extremely convenient location, on site parking, quiet, and comfortable. It's a classic old beach motel, a taste of the old Ocean City.

  Between the pet fee and the optional parking pass I ended up paying an extra $80 but that's the only downside.

  The decor of this hotel is outdated. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel a number of times because it's near the airport. The cost is less than other hotels in the area, but the interior needs to be refreshed. We have eaten in the hotel restaurant previously, but chose not to do so this time because we're not fans of Indian cuisine.

  Quiet, very very clean. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a modern style. The bed and chairs are comfortable. I was on business and there was a good size desk for working. I had no problem with Zoom or transmitting orders. Nick, who manages, is intelligent and courteous and friendly. Maria, the maid, is very thorough. This is my 3rd time staying here, & after trying several hotels in SJ, this has become my spot. Free parking & if you are working downtown or at a convention center or SJ State it is walking distance. And if not, you are 3 blocks from 280. There is a hip coffee place next door, & for dinner, Original Joe's, a classic Italian Steakhouse is 2 blocks away. A real gem at a modest price!
