  The facility was clean and comfortable.There were some apparent maintance needs. The desk clerk was excellent. He patiently dealt with a snaffu that caused our booking.com reservation to not appear on his computer screen in the usual way.

  Check-in was complicated by our booking.com registration. For some reason the registration did not appear on the motel's usual registration computer display. The desk clerk was very professional and patient. He was finally able to locate the registration by searching for our last name. Actually, making the reservation on booking.com was not without it's problems.

  The room was nice but there was some defects. The shower wouldn’t work. The water would come on but when you tried to turn the shower part on it didn’t work. The sink in the kitchen would spray everywhere as well.

  For the price , this is an EXCEPTIONAL VALUE. Everything was CLEAN , CLEAN , CLEAN , from the room , to the lobby , to the breakfast room. Even breakfast was fresh , hot and decent , better actually than other places we have stayed in Savannah. We travel from Florida to North Carolina several times a year. We always stop halfway in Savannah because we enjoy the city. I normally would NEVER choose a hotel at this price level but thought , doesn’t hurt to try 1 time. I am so glad I took the chance. We will be staying here EVERYTIME we come through. You WILL NOT find a better hotel for this price level than Red Roof Inn in Hardeesville.
