      This is a very comfortable place with the friendliest staff, which makes up for the lack of modern facilities we're used to in most hotels. The price is great, especially for this area, which can be very expensive. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but the weather in San Simeon is cool enough (at least in late August), and we didn't miss it. Additionally, we had the chance to visit the sea lion vista point, and it was wonderful!

      I didn’t like anything or anyone at this location. They falsely advertised a working swimming pool and did NOT have a working swimming pool during a heatwave of all times.

      Falsely advertised a working swimming pool. Staff was rude and disrespectful. Staff refused to release hold on my card after I brought to their attention that they did not in fact have a working swimming pool. I stayed in the room for all of 10 minutes before leaving and the staff still refused a refund.

      No breakfast included and limited time and menu availability at Breakfast area. we had to go into town each day to get breakfast. Live guitar/singer seemed to be more interested in playing songs he wanted more than what the audience wanted to hear
