    - “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

      The hotel was so clean and in a great location to everything. The staff was superb and the breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious with so many choices. Anything you needed was available and the staff was extremely accommodating. Wonderful stay, highly recommend it

      The breakfast was phenomenal. The front desk people were so nice. We were at the state fair, everything in Grand Island was double the cost of Quality Inn. We'll worth the 10 extra minutes of driving. This was our 2nd year staying here during the state fair.

      We really did not like the shower at all. The shower head was mounted too low and there was no way to take a hands free shower because the clamp allowed it to droop too much the only way to have a hands free shower was to sit down and that was not ok. And the water went everywhere requiring all the extra towels to soak it up. The toilet paper mounts were loose on the wall and would be a very easy fix I’m an industrial engineer and these things are so obvious to me but maybe not anyone else None of these things would preclude me from coming again

      I didn't like the fact that we had our "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging outside our door and one of the housekeepers still tried to enter our room unannounced!! Good thing we had the extra locks on our door. I went to the front desk to make a complaint and was told that it would be reported to management. Upon checking out on Monday morning, I NEVER spoke to anybody on the management staff nor did anyone come talk to me about the incident. I'm highly disappointed and will NOT book with them again! We didn't know that housekeepers intentions when they tried to enter our room thinking we weren't in there smh!!!

      The rooms were no clean!! Smelled awful!! Had 2 rooms one was okay the other one was completely horrible the smell of urine hit u in the face as soon as u opened the door! Bathroom was not cleaned!! Black ashes on the toliet seat hairs everywhere!! Asked for extra blanket was told no we dont have any!! Supposed to have free breakfast by 8am there was nothing to be offered!! Mimd u breakfast os from 6-9am i wouldnt recommend staying here at all!! Especially for over 500 for 2 nights!! Only reason i leave it with 1 star would be the night receptionist! She definitely needs a pay raise!!
